The prenatal education workshops below are designed to help you more fully prepare for the arrival of your little one!  Each includes two hours of virtual instruction, with relevant resources and time for your specific questions.

Introduction to Newborn Care

Get started with confidence! This class is a wonderful introduction for first time parents and a great way to refresh your memory if this is not your first child. You will learn what to expect during your baby's first weeks at home as we discuss newborn senses, typical development, growth spurts, and milestones. You will also have the opportunity to practice infant care skills such as umbilical cord care, diapering, bathing, soothing techniques, carseat safety, and more.

Infant Feeding Options & Techniques

You have options when it comes to feeding your little one. In this class we will discuss breast/chest feeding, bottle feeding, and various other feeding options. We will review hunger cues, typical schedules, milk storage guidelines, and practice various feeding positions & burping techniques. We will also discuss common feeding questions, challenges, and when to seek additional support.

The Art and Science of Infant Sleep

Sleep is a top concern for most parents, but it doesn't have to be. This class is designed to set up healthy expectations and habits surrounding infant sleep before your baby arrives. You will learn about schedules, calming techniques, healthy infant sleep patterns, and much more. This class is full of invaluable infant sleep knowledge that will help you establish healthy sleep right from the start!
